SARKHEJ ROZA PRINCE AND PRINCESS PAVILION

Sarkhej Roza is a village always brimming with activity and life. The colonnade which symbolises free movement in the space and the courtyards are what this design is based on. There are several courtyards created within the pavilions and merely by differentiating the sizes of them, different activities can be imagined. The amphitheatre also acts like a public gathering space where performances can happen. The princess's pavilion has been inspired by the free form of a woman, whereas the princes's pavilion follows staunch islamic geometry of the square to show his authority and strength.
