The realization that structure and enclosure can act differently opened up many possibility in architecture such as flexible spaces and planning, manipulation in partition and innovation in fenestration. This notion, open plan, was considered an expression of modernism. Many architects like Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe has evidence of this idea of separation of structure and partition in their works . Shreyas Foundation School with two contrasting spaces with same structural system exhibits this idea.
