This project questions the boundaries of a performance hall through the existence of a filigreed inner layer that rejects the idea of a closed formal place for performance. A series of enveloping outer walls allow for meandering through circulation spaces, creating pockets for the congregation of attendees, therefore defining another layer of performance- socialization. The upper boundary of the inner layer is defined by a truss, which by creating a form that points at the space between the audience and the performers, bridges the divide and reduces formality.
