Commenting on the excavation of the site, the site is quite damaged due to the severe quarrying process. A large amount of vacancy has been created at both micro-level and at an evident scale. I personally see these vacancies as scars given to the site. I would further like to work on healing the site from these vacancies and leave behind an architectural intervention as CICATRIX (spot after healing a scar). To achieve the latter, apart from a major vacancy was selected, and it was clear that to bridge the gap between the two ridges a layer would be needed which replicates the terrain as it was before.
