Experiencing the topography | CEPT

Studio proposes to remodel and re adapt a distressed and abandoned quarry near Champaner archaeological park into a place for research on flora (Herbarium and a Visitors center).
Herbarium is envisioned in a way … covering experiencing, studying ( education ) and exploration of history, nature and leisure along with a number of observatory desk. • Visitors Center ( Public ) – Educational trial, observation decks, Garden, exhibited quarry, Cafe • Semi ( Education ) – Exhibition, lectures, related workshops etc. … • Private ( Research ) – Material reception and collection, Documentation center, Molecular biology lab, quarantine room and a library.
Aim of the project is to constantly engage with the landscape as much as possible by establishing Herbariums relationship to topography.
