The Maninagar area of Ahmedabad lacks adequate public performance spaces apart from the Sai Jhulelal open-air theatre and the ill-maintained Balwantrai hall on site. Though there is a mix of social and recreational activities, it lacks cultural ones which adds to the performing arts culture and engagement of the city. The Center for the Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Values of India will stand as a vibrant tapestry that weaves the threads of India’s diverse heritage. An intervention of tradition, it respectfully safeguards the cultural essence that defines the nation. This intervention not only revives fading folk performances that once pulsed with life across the land but also showcases the captivating richness of India’s craft heritage through intricate artifacts. The center is like a living archive of India’s warm history. It brings back forgotten folk performances and lets visitors experience a bygone era filled with music, dance, and stories. It revives the spirit of the past that flowed through India.  Furthermore, the center hosts a variety of India’s festivals in one place, giving everyone, whether they’re locals or travelers, the opportunity to enjoy the country’s diverse celebrations. This makes the center a symbol of unity where people can connect with India’s identity and add their own touch to its vibrant culture.
