Bari ka Talab, situated at Udaipur's outskirts, has a dramatic geography with streams cascading into its valleys. Yet, fluctuating water levels threaten its delicate balance, altering the local ecosystem. The vision is to create water efficient system on the western edge of the lake which is the junction of river channel and lake. Addressing the shift in the macro ecosystem necessitates a focus on restoring micro ecosystems. These ecological units are pivotal in halting the alteration of the broader landscape. This will create common interest of locals as well as ecology and can be addition of tourist activity at some spots.
