Lakes are an inherent part of the ecosystem. Lakes have traditionally served the function of meeting water requirements of the populace for drinking, household uses like washing, for agriculture, fishing and also for religious and cultural purposes. Apart from these functions, which involve direct use of the lake water, lakes are also known to recharge ground water, channelized water flow to prevent waterlogging and flooding. Lakes are also host to a wide variety of flora and fauna, especially birds. The need to initiate efforts to preserve, modify,restore, conserve, manage and maintain the lakes as a valuable part of the whole ecosystem.The project celebrates the frames of unique character of the waterfront by offering a blend of socio-cultural, recreational, and commercial opportunities while preserving, conserving, modifying and enhancing the ecological integrity of the area. The project will illuminate the richness of the lakefront environment, showcasing its natural wonders, cultural heritage, and economic opportunities for all to see and appreciate. The idea is to create an Socio-economically vibrant and safe and inclusivewaterfront providing the best social and physical infrastructure for it’s neighborhood residences, tourists and locals.Creating a vital waterfront that serves to unite the community and the visitors in a shared experience of the city.The vision is to make a visible space for celebration of frames that fosters connection, recreation, conservation of lake along with its surroundings for user experience such as residents, visitors while making design universal friendly. The projects aims to apply design strategies such as ecological conservation,social landscape,Tourist infrastructure development.
