This house for six, situated in Shantinath ni Pol, aims to serve a dual purpose; create a private residence for its inhabitants and also connect to the pol through its side courts. The crux of the design is its voluminous central bay that creates multiple connections throughout the house with all rooms located along it. Here the idea of a central confined courtyard has been reinterpreted and stretched along an entire bay. The intention is to pick up queues from the old city designs and implement them for a house convenient to live in, in today's times.
