Vertical Studio-High Density Housing in Historic City Center
This vertical studio introduces students to concerns of housing in dense historic city centers of India. The studio will consist of two design problems. In the first short one, students will learn to respond to a design brief on an existing historic archaeological site at Mandu. Here the questions of collective history and memory will be explored by designing a guesthouse.
