The studio site is located in Champaner (A heritage site declared by UNESCO). Champaner was the capital of Gujarat briefly. The site has been selected keeping in mind the rich architectural, historic, political and geographical history of the place. We propose to design a Research and Interpretation center within the heritage zone. Aim of this program is to address and promote natural and historical heritage of Champaner-Pavagarh region along with tribal culture, art and craft.
