“The Left Turn” is a center for teenagers to come together to learn 3D printing and to relax through informal dancing. I see teenagers as being fragments of society who don’t have common spaces to come together for fun and learning. Consequently, the design is based on the idea of bringing together these fragments. This can be seen in the forms of internal space partitions, small windows, niches and special corners, furniture language, the triangular sliced skylights, the extensions and flooring materials- terrazzo. The glass corners create an inside outside connection. Thus variations of fragments come together in the form of different internal spatial elements to generate the quality of fun.
