Kalimpong is a mutation of different cultures and religions. One such unique example is Tibetan Christianity. The beauty of Tibetan Christianity is that they worship Jesus Christ as a Buddhist monk. This mutation of two different cultures and religions resulted in the wonderful architecture of the Tibetan Church, found in Kalimpong which brings the cultures of both worlds. The concept of mutation of two different cultures and religions contextualizes the essence of Kalimpong itself. The intent is to create a design language that takes clues from both culture
