Linear Fusion: A Symphony of Continuity

Linear Fusion: A Symphony of Continuity" is a project located in CEPT University's GIDC Bhavan that shows the transformative ability of materials in interior architecture. This Material Library, located in a two-story tall room framed by wooden structures and plywood surfaces, acts as a learning hub, emphasising the environmental benefits of clay, plastic, and fabric. Physical samples and detailed catalogues provide tactile experiences, while seminars and workshops encourage research of their sustainable sourcing and processing. The library's display features with the space's XYZ axes, highlighting the balance of linearity both horizontally and verticality in the space. Linear Fusion creates a culture of awareness by highlighting the benefits of these materials and effortlessly integrating them into the interior landscape.

Shapes are explored by extraction operations, which result in rotation, twisting, mirroring, and stacking. These shapes are then further developed by defining surfaces and frames.

Adding materiality to forms wherein frame material is wood and surface material is flexi plywood.

Implementing the forms in the space and creating zoning and block layouts.
