The contemporary approach to the design of material library calls for restoring the diversity of materials used. The design is an attempt to emphasize local craftsmanship and revive the importance of skilled labor, through a unique display of materials like wood, stone and fabric. Common and ordinary materials like ply and steel can be treated beyond their planar and linear character by playing with their axis and joinery. Integrating these materials with structural systems creates a synergy in the spatial division at the same time exposing the viewer to the celebration of details.
