CLONE - A Set of Concrete Canines

Clone is a monolithic artifact, designed for the Kamala Nehru Zoo in Ahmedabad. The intervention in the form of seating aims to provide a moment of relief for the tired visitors.The name is derived from its arrangement with one module mirrored on the other side. The form was inspired by the context as well as that of the arrangement of a crocodile's teeth. The current arrangement accommodates two sitters.
