The project is an office space for a Shoe Customisation Studio. The studio takes plain white shoes and customize them according to individual client requirements and preferences. It is a high end space aiming at sneakerheads and shoe fanatics as their clientele. The idea behind customized shoes is individuality and vibrancy and hence the concept of vibrancy is taken forward in the space. The first space one encounters as they enter the studio is the display space that showcases bestsellers and other sample works for reference. Adjacent to the display is a customization room which has a material library that holds options of laces, fabrics, color palettes and other accessorizing items for clients to choose from. The conference room has shared access from the customization room and the workspace for client and staff meetings. The workspace is a designated design space for designers to brainstorm ideas and create graphic and product designs. The entire process of customization, from dying to packaging takes place in the workshop. To further elaborate on the vibrancy, the materials used are brass and glass. Where brass forms an eye-catching frame to the partitions and displays and glass used as an infill provides a blank backdrop for the product to be highlighted.
