The process started with selecting an object and decoding its movement. In this case, the object was a joystick and the mechanism was ball & socket. The objective was to understand the mechanism through models and find an application where said mechanism can be applied. The Final Project showcases how a ball and socket mechanism can be used to solve the problem of fraying charging cables. This project focuses on USB Type A cables but the mechanism can be applied to other charging ports as well.
