The exercise was to design elements which represent the plurality of the contemporary craft and interior architecture practices in India. The study was geared towards interacting with the crafts people and learning by doing. 
Cane, known for high tensile strength, is used to create patterned modular elements. The patterns created, are inspired from peacock feathers. Wood is used to support the modular element. Simple pattern and texture of cane is complemented with carved wood. Braided cane strips are used to connect the modules.
 The modules can also be used as screen/ Partition. It can solve different purposes based on utility.
