MODULAR PUBLIC TOILETS

FURNITURE FOR OUTDOOR SPACES CONSIST OF FURNITURE ELEMENTS THAT ARE PLACED AND USED IN PUBLIC SPACES AND CONTEXT. THE USERS FOR OUTDOOR FURNITURE ARE NOT SPECIFIC, TAKING THESE FACTORS INTO CONSIDERATION THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO DESIGN A MODULAR PUBLIC TOILET. THE MODULE IS DESIGNED TO FACILITATE REPETITION IN MULTIPLE CONTEXT. THE STRUCTURE OF MODULE IS INSPIRED FROM AN ELEVATOR CARRIAGE. THE SKELETAL FRAME CONSISTS OF A C SECTION FLOOR AND ROOF FRAME WITH BOX SECTION VERTICAL STRUCTURE CONNECTING THEM STAINLESS STEEL CLADDING IS ATTACHED ON VERTICAL MEMBERS WHICH ACTS AS INTERIOR PANELS WHICH ARE EASY TO CLEAN AND ARE VANDALISM PROOF. MOULDED FRP PANEL IS USED FOR THE OUTER WALL OF THE MODULE AND THE ROOF IS COVERED WITH A MOULDED FRP LID. FOR BASE LEVELLER LEGS ARE USED FOR PROVIDING LEVELLING IN CASE OF UNDULATED SURFACES. MODULES CAN BE ARRANGED IN A ROW OF URINALS AND CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED TO PROVIDE A CLOSED CABIN FOR WC. THE BENEFIT OF THIS MODULE IS THAT IT CAN BE USED INDEPENDENTLY AS A SINGLE UNIT AS WELL IT CAN BE ARRANGED TO WORK IN A SYSTEM.
