Generation of Point Loaded Surface with Induced pull

Group - Rajnarayan S  |   Janani V

The Point loaded surface was an output of initial material Explorations which later got transformed into the analysis of the property and material reaction of the material. The surface is a Muslin cloth with screws and nuts imparted along to provide equal distribution of load along the surface.  The surface had the property of creation of sags and creases which we made it more prominent in the interior gallery of the space by means of Kinetic movement.

The Mechanical movement continuously instantiates to create a dynamic space of creases, sags and Depth and enhances the users experience in the gallery. The material in reality can be created by means of matrix which can be connected through a metallic points with flexible light fabric.
