The ‘Floating Dream Machines’ is designed to create a spatial experience that resonates the futuristic aspect of Da Vinci’s ideas. The idea is explored through the ‘portal’ which suspends itself from the top and is used as exhibit platforms, display panel or simply as space-defining elements carving out for the suspended machines. This layering of the portals creates an immersive space by defining its visual sequence as is the core idea behind all three roles. Layering of space-making elements is explored in various ways at different scales in each role to enhance the ‘interior’ experience.
