Narrative Objects

Narrative objects can be seen as a subset of material culture, which refers to the physical objects and artefacts that are created, used, and preserved by a particular culture. Material culture includes everything from clothing and tools to art and architecture, and it can provide insights into the beliefs, values, and practices of a society. In the context of storytelling, narrative objects can be used to explore and convey the material culture of a particular time and place. By describing and contextualizing objects within a narrative, authors can provide readers with a deeper understanding of the social, historical, and cultural contexts in which the story takes place.
