The Kala Kendra academy is imagined to be a space that encourages and creates an environment for interaction and learning of various different authentic classical art forms in the dance and music arena. The design takes inspiration from one of the classical music rhythm and interprets it in various versatile forms. The design also tries to Explore and reflect the vibrations and energy - that one feels when engaging with the art - through light and various properties of materials. The highly varied experience that one feels when passing through various spaces reflects to the larger theme of the project that states “Ornamentation can lead to a Progressive series of versatile experiences through varied forms of ornamentation” ?And finally with the varied uses of lights and vibration patterns and textures one truly TAPS into the RHYTHM of LIGHT.
