Ornamentation through Fabrication | Ornamentation follows Order, which can be achieved through Fabrication. Ornamentation binds visual and functional aspect and Fabrication binds structural aspect. When fabrication supports ornamentation, it becomes a system. The space is an attempt to organize interior elements with respect to fabrication and ornamentation such that it becomes a property of the structure. Similar interior elements are used by modulating the order, contrast and material 1. to accommodate the given 3 programs; spa, store and gallery, and 2. to induce the feeling of familiarity in unfamiliar. This is done through independent investigation of qualities, desired in the interior such as language, experience etc. which are otherwise informed through external influences such as the site.
