Jodhpur ward being in a developed part of the city has noticed tremendous amount of growth and development in the ward. Being a developed ward, Jodhpur ward has witnessed some major traffic and parking problems due to the major use of vehicles in the areas where there are more commercial and mixed use spaces. Parking being the major problem of those places, due to lack of parking awareness and less availability of parking space people are not able to have enough spaces, and forced to park on-street. Even where parking space is allotted the space has parking management problems. Areas where parking facility is provided by the AMC through private contractor has some managerial problems as some of those areas are poorly managed. Major parking problems were identified with the help of citizen surveys and site mapping with those observations, problems were tried to be solved with the help of managerial solutions.                     Management proposals aims to solve the major parking problems. It is properly taken care that how the citizens will be engaged in solving the parking problem by themselves with the private parking and as some of the areas were free for parking which required proper management were converted in paid parking with proper changes in contract for parking. A parking management cell is introduced for the better management of parking as there are various governing bodies of traffic and parking with the penalty system. Roles and responsibilities of ward inspector for supervision on site has been proposed to monitor the contractor with the interventions from the parking policies of Pune and Delhi.
