The goal of this pilot project is to incorporate the reuse of treated wastewater into Ahmedabad's Town Planning Scheme (TPS). It attempts to provide a model for non-potable reuse in new residential areas that is required. Dual plumbing systems will be installed in a trial village in order to assess public acceptability, cost-effectiveness, and water saving. The initiative aims to reduce demand on Ahmedabad's potable water supply, promote sustainable water management, and provide standards for large-scale implementation.
