Urbanization poses significant challenges to cities worldwide, demanding innovative solutions for sustainable development. This research focuses on integrating Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) into urban planning, using Varanasi as a case study. Through a rigorous literature review and primary data collection, this study examines BGI's potential to mitigate urbanization's adverse effects, particularly on green spaces and water systems. The findings offer strategic insights into Varanasi's BGI needs and propose actionable plans for sustainable urban development, ensuring better liveable and recreational spaces for the city.
