Scenario Planning and Analysis is a niche and probably not-so-talked about concept in India especially for micro-level plans. It is a 'tool' via which planning processes can be rationalised and made effectively used for any plan level. It gives us a way to prepare for an uncertain future by performing impact analysis on plans. Hence, to bring into limelight the importance of this, Scenario Creation and Evaluation Tool (SCET) was made, using the open source software QGIS. The tool is aimed to help planners create scenarios and evaluate them on basis on numbers.
