In 1965 there was the presence of Green Belt in Development Plan, part of which falls in Vasna ward. Currently, residential, agriculture and vacant land are observed in this Green Belt area which observes a slow pace of development in the ward. The ward has 11% vacant land which has a good potential is being underutilized & is prone to waste dumping. This concern is important in terms of the current usage of vacant spaces & the ongoing activity here affecting the overall development of vacant land in the ward.The objective is to utilize undeveloped spaces to the optimal level for the socio-economic benefit & to enhance the livability of the ward.
