The aim of the studio was to develop an understanding about the broader aspects of planning framework. The exercises were majorly people centric. The particular site area on the western edge of the sabarmati river has huge potential for development with upcoming government proposals, changing the ward image drastically. Major challenge is to propose new urban interventions which benefit the community at large and absorb the pressure that site is going to handle in future.
