In this studio, the main focus was learning to replicate the pattern of evolution in nature to achieve better designs using soft wares and plugins like rhino, grasshopper, octopus, ladybug etc.
Manhattan blocks were replicated in grasshopper using actual measurements but introducing variations in facade.
The site for the semester was a former green belt area in Jivraj Park area. We studied the site in groups and then proposed major street networks and amenities distribution on site based on our observations.Lastly, based on density distribution and land use, we proposed built types for a 4 hectare patch within the area.
