This portfolio is the culmination of works during the Element of Urban Design studio throughout the semester. As the name suggests, the studio explores various elements of urban design. The first part of the studio started with the understanding of various urban elements through analysis and illustration of street, urban block, and open space in both Indian and foreign context.
The second part focuses on identifying an important street and related issues in the city of Ahmedabad. Thaltej market street was chosen for the proposal with an objective to address various existing issues and also for the upcoming metro and transit-oriented development.
