GREENFIELD DEVELOPMENT IN COCHIN

In “Housing Project Studio, 2020”, the primary aim was to develop a Greenfield in Cochin for a developer, which will be financially feasible. The project process initiated by understanding the city dynamics and how the city functions and provide according to the demand and requirement in the housing sector. Micro and macro market condition were analyzed and a potential site was identified based on land potential analysis. Supporting legal aspects and case studies were studied to understand various costing and price escalation in the project. Inference from micro, macro and case study was used to evolution of a viable project brief with various product mix. Developing and understanding the best financial strategy for the project was done through different possible iteration and phasing. Developed a conceptual layout and product massing along with identifying various potential, opportunity and risk factor in the project.
