Designing a Residential Township of 560 acres as a green field development has turned out to be an interesting journey of 15 weeks understanding many Urban Design principles, how to incorporate them in our design and finally detailing some of the interesting Urban Blocks of the Township. Initially, it was a bit difficult where to begin designing such a huge site, which we haven’t handled before. But with the guidance of our amazing faculties, things went really smooth. This portfolio talks and explains about my approach towards the Township design. Subject to the limitation of time, efforts and resources, every possible attempt has been made to design and present to the best of my knowledge. I have given utmost importance to the existing context and tried my best to make this township stand- out from all other townships which came up in Ahmedabad till date.
