Acting as a model for the Sponge City initiative, the project would let itself fill up with water, regulating flooding in the nearby areas. This would stop the violation of the lake and lead to the effective reuse of sewage water. The people would be able to touch the lake water and experience a close and raw relationship with it so that the general attitude towards water bodies can change and the humans can once again learn to cherish it as their belonging. 
 As urbanization progresses, farmland is consumed by R3 and R2 zones, pushing agriculture away from city centres. This amplifies reliance on transportation and packaging, leading to energy inefficiency and poor-quality produce. In agrarian countries like India, where reverence for nature is ingrained in culture, urbanization severs the connection between urban residents and the natural world. Establishing organic community farming in public spaces offers a platform for individuals to rekindle this bond with nature and access fresh produce. This initiative fosters a strong, diverse community engaged in small-scale farming, facilitating meaningful connections between people and the environment.
