The studio was all about making a strategic transportation plan for Vadodara city for the horizon year of 2040 for that surveys were conducted to get the future population, direction of growing of the city, freight movement, mode share, road condition and after analysing all this data issues were identified and proposals were made accordingly.
The IPT in the Vadodara is not regularised in terms of no. of autos, ownership, plying of old vehicles and routes of the autos and this are giving competition to public transport. In the regional connectivity, Vadodara is the central route for all the major cities like Ahmedabad and Surat which has high no. of fleet and all this buses passes through one terminal which is central bus stop.
