Towards Safer Mobility : a case of Vadodara

Vadodara, a developing city, is growing at a fast pace , with the face of road safety still in a hasty stage. With the increasing living standards of the people,  high vehicular ownership, leads to a decline in the mode share of public transport, along with traffic congestion and road accidents. The lack of proper road infrastructure leads to pedestrians and two wheelers being the most affected , in serious and fatal accidents. This triggers the need to ensure proper road safety, to decrease the fatalities, while attracting the people towards public transport, and other non-motorized modes as well.
