Beso is a gujarati word which literally means “come, sit with me”. It is used by a person to invite another person to sit, interact and socialize. Here, Beso is used as an inspiration for designing ‘inviting public spaces’ which are socially comfortable as well as physically comfortable.Need: Due to heavy vehicularization of the street, the social life of street is being lost. Purpose: To conserve and enhance the social life of the street. Vision: To transform street as ‘destination for all’.Aim: To reclaim ‘streets as places’ for people.Goal: To make the street sittable and walkable.
