The design was aimed to cater to the women of Ambli who identify themselves by their skills or profession. Most women referred to themselves as tailors whether they practised it full fledgedly as an economic activity or as a hobby. A majority of them discontinued it, shifted to small scale or are finding it hard to start their own practice. The design aims to provide them with a platform where these women can showcase their skills, help contribute economically and promote mutual learning. Certain elements like otlas, courtyards, and stair patterns that are particularly found in Ambli have been incorporated. Programs like day care have been included to resolve concerns that led to these women discontinue their practice.
