The public spaces in India today are covered with vehicular movement and parking; the ownership of which usually lies with men. The rest of the remaining public spaces are then either encroached or act as a male anchor point. The design of these cities do not take into consideration the needs and expectations that an Indian women needs to have while accessing a public space. The street is redesigned with the vision of a street that enables women to experience a sense of ownership by having a wholesome interlinked experience of Play, Pause and Purpose.
