“Civilization is a progress from indefinite, incoherent homogeneity to definite, coherent heterogeneity.” -Herbert Spencer Our cities have been increasingly morphing into a heterogeneous identity. While the context of heterogeneity may vary, it is undeniable that most urban areas are dealing with the complexities of disparities created by diverseness of built environment and social-economic structure. However, urban spaces, as well as cities also brings together networks, people, and markets, essentially working as back-bone of our development. An internal inter-dependency of these diverse cogs creates a flow that shapes the cities into one singular entity. Chandkheda is a perfect example of these interconnections within heterogeneity.
