The Portfolio presents an understanding of Kota city "The national education hub" on aspects such as housing and transport choices, Basic services, Governance etc. it also presents a detailed understanding of urban fabric by analyzing an area of 1X1 sqkm. known as Bhimganj Mandi, it is one of the core areas of Kota and is center to retail activities. it lies in north of Kota city and is an old area which, started developing in 1900’s near to railway station. Analysis of the precinct is done on aspects of land and built use, FSI, Publicness, connectivity and accessibility. Inter-relation between Land-use, mobility and walkability has been explored in context of Bhimganjmandi. Answers to the questions like, How DCR along with the other factors could impact built form and what built form can tell me about the DCR followed in past are also answered in this portfolio.
Bhimganjmandi as a Neighbourhood definitely has  a huge potential to densify further and is yet to see much more of urban transformation.
