Building Sustainable, Robust and Vibrant Rajkot.

Rajkot, Gujarat's fourth largest city, faces challenges despite its industrial prominence and rapid growth. To ensure sustainable development through the Rajkot Development Plan 2041, our strategy emphasizes compactness, ecological sensitivity, economic resilience, and cultural vibrancy. Addressing water issues and promoting mixed land use are priorities. Improved public transportation and infrastructure connectivity will enhance economic opportunities. Utilizing form-based zoning and green initiatives will conserve resources. Implementing transit-oriented developments and public spaces will alleviate city burdens. By leveraging economic corridors and expanding the road network, Rajkot can evolve into a resilient, interconnected urban centre with diversified growth and improved quality of life.
