The portfolio talks about Surat city and its development plan proposal for 2041 that considers the projected population that is approximately 70 lakhs more than the existing population. With the increase in the population there is  a natural demand for housing,infrastructure, water supply and employment opportunities.
The portfolio will help in understanding the land use mechanism of a city through the analysis of present conditions. At the same time, the process of making a development plan will be understood on the basis of several iterations that are involved in the process.
