The The key objective of Development Plan 2041 is to capitalize on Rajkot’s unique geographical identity and industrial potential. The aim is to establish a flexible development framework that improves connectivity and facilitates economic growth. 
The studio focused on adopting a liberal approach, and we were encouraged to explore pragmatic methods to planning a city. The key takeaway from the studio was the realization that city systems are complex, they are a function of multiple factors. Urban Planners must resist controlling its management by creating a framework that allows flexibility and choice.
