Khadia is a heritage site located in the old walled city of Ahmedabad. Two components are considered for the heritage conservation: private realm and public realm. For the private realm, prioritization of the heritage structures is done to provide regulations and incentives accordingly. This prioritization is done by combining two approaches: based on location and based on heritage value. For the public realm, some streets are selected for intervention to enhance the peculiar character of the street.
