The aim of this studio was to develop a comprehensive development plan for Mehsana city, Gujarat. The methodology adopted were site survey, household survey, public interactions, key person interviews. Plan preparation considered both long-term and short-term vision for the city and a set of inter-related strategies and proposals for land use, housing, transport, infrastructure, and the environment.Housing strategy for informal settlement under PMAY 2015 first vertical Gujarat model has been showcased here.
