The studio aims to develop competencies in making comprehensive Development Plan (DP), by carrying out a simulated exercise to prepare a development plan for Mahesana for 2031. Plan preparation involved developing a long-term vision and a set of inter­related strategies and proposals for different sectors. Formulate sectoral strategies as part of the DP.  Also, To understand the present housing scenario in Mahesana and therefore develop an urban housing strategy plan for the city, to provide a spectrum of choices which are affordable to all and understand the role of different stakeholders as a provider and enabler
