Our aim was to develop competencies to make a strategic urban mobility transportation plan of Mahesana -2027. Mahesana city being the district headquarters of Mahesana District is a vibrant urban center on a principle north-south urban corridor along SH 41 in N.Gujarat. The study area is 118 sq.km  which is the delineated area having maximum land under agriculture and residential use. Mahesana has kind off mono-centric city form where all the commercial as well as institutional activities happen in center of city where most of the trips are attracted. Also has 2 Gidc's and dudhsagar dairy forming secondary  economic sector.
